The Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), a research centre founded and run by GEG Research Associate Arunabha Ghosh, has been ranked as the best climate think tank in India, the 5th best in Asia, and the 27th best in the world. This is the second year in a row the International Centre for Climate Governance has rated CEEW as number one in India. The rankings assessed 293 think tanks around the world on a set of 15 indicators structured in three main pillars: activities, publications and dissemination.

Earlier this year, the University of Pennsylvania’s ‘2013 Global Go To Think Tank Index’ recognised CEEW as the top performer in India across three categories.
