“The GLF Programme not only helps me to further explore global health governance from a Chinese perspective, but also provides an excellent forum to share ideas with other international scholars in the field. Under the auspices of the wonderful Programme, I am to examine the policy-making mechanism of China’s health diplomacy and to explore the significant implications China’s health diplomacy holds for global health governance. I also intend to investigate alternative institutional arrangements in China’s health diplomacy so as to help China develop an integrated national global health strategy. I hope that my research will contribute to a better understanding of how China’s policy-makers and institutions can optimize its foreign policy so as to promote health governance at home and abroad.”
