Oxford Lawyers Against Poverty is an initiative set up by Legal Professionals and Students interested in the link between the rule of law and poverty in the developing world and how lawyers can make a positive contribution to the alleviation of poverty through legal channels.

On November 9th at 6:30pm we will be holding Brexit: Legal Challenges and Opportunities in conjunction with the Global Economic Governance Programme at the Blavatnik School of Governance as part of our monthly seminar series. The event will feature Emily Jones, Associate Professor in Public Policy (Global Economic Governance) and Jeremias Prassl, Associate Professor in Law and Fellow of Magdalen College. The evening’s focus will be on protecting trade agreements with developing countries post Brexit and the expected disappearance of European Jurisprudence from UK law.
