Afghanistan is at the crossroads. Despite some major achievements, after 15 years of efforts to build the state and economy Afghanistan is highly aid dependent, the state is weak, insurgency is continuing and the economy is declining. In this context, this workshop assesses how to readjust the trajectory to build the state capacity and use foreign aid more effectively.
