Regionalism

The global economy is governed through initiatives at the multilateral, regional, and domestic levels. GEG’s work in this area explores the political economy of regional integration involving developing countries.

We focus on two issues:

  1. Understanding the political, economic, and ideational factors that facilitate or impede regional integration among developing countries
  2. The accountability and governance of regional organisations
