GEG is delighted to announce the arrival of two of the 2014-2016 Global Leaders Fellows in Oxford.

Dr. Ali Hasanain is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Pakistan. His research examines how Information and Communications Technology (ICT) can be applied in underdeveloped countries to improve governance and market outcomes. He also studies how individuals’ personal characteristics mediate the success of this process.

Dr. Camila Duran is an associate professor at the Law School of the University of São Paulo. The purpose of her research is to develop an interdisciplinary critical reflection on the International Monetary Fund’s institutional design, aiming to contribute with policy proposals to enhance the Fund’s legitimacy and accountability, particularly towards emerging and developing countries.
