Professor Robert O. Keohane, one of the Founders and Directors of the Oxford-Princeton Global Leaders Programme has been awarded the Balzan Prize, one the most prestigious academic prizes in the world.

The Balzan Prize, awarded by the Italo-Swiss International Balzan Prize Foundation, is given to people or institutions who have made an outstanding contribution to humanities. Professor Keohane’s work on international relations and international politics has had a great impact on the scholarship of the last decades. GEG and the Global Leaders Fellows are delighted that Professor Keohane, who has always been a mentor and guide to the GLFs, has received recognition for his work.
