In a new op-ed in the Washington Post, Senior Researcher Tom Hale, Jessica F. Green, and Jeff D. Colgan responded to the U.N. IPCC's Special Report, Global Warming of 1.5°C. They argue that climate politics is changing from a landscape of zero-sum games to a collaborative survival-focused, or existential, approach. The authors promote rapid action, and suggest some solutions to further transitions towards decarbonisation.
