Camila Villard Duran has been a professor at the University of São Paulo (USP, Brazil) since 2013. She is also a visiting researcher at the Sorbonne's Institute of Legal and Philosophical Sciences - ISJPS. Camila is a former Oxford - Princeton Global Leaders Fellow (2014-2016), and was visiting professor at the Sciences Po Paris (2019) and the Université Lumière Lyon 2 (2016). In 2014, 2016, and 2018, Camila gave a series of lectures at the Center for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London. She is also the co-coordinator of the USP research group on Law, Money & Finance in partnership with the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in Brazil.
 
In 2012, she was awarded a joint-Ph.D. degree from the USP and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France). She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M., 2008) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B., 2004) from the USP, with participation in exchange programs at the Sciences Po Paris and Paris Ouest Nanterre (2006-2007).
 
Camila works on issues related to the international economic law, regulation of money and finance, and the institutional design of global monetary and financial cooperation.
